Notifications
Skysize tells the admins of a project when something needs their attention. You choose how: by email, in the dashboard, or both. Both are on by default.
What you are notified about

| Health issue on production | An instance health signal reaches the Issue level. Once per episode |
| Production deployment failed | The latest deployment of the production environment failed. Your previous version keeps running |
| Domain not reachable | A domain of the project cannot be reached, with the reason. Repeated once a day while it lasts |
| Certificate expiring | The TLS certificate of a domain is close to expiry and has not renewed |
| Billing notices | A project is over its storage or user limit and will be, or has been, disabled |
Only project admins are notified, whether they are admins directly or through a group. Staging and development deployments never notify: whoever pushed the code sees the result in the dashboard.
Health issues notify on paid plans and trials only. On a Free Sandbox project the Health tab shows how many signals are open, without notification (see Instance Health Signals).
The bell
The bell at the top of the dashboard shows the number of unread notifications. Click it to see the latest ones; click a notification to open the page it is about, for example the failed deployment on the log that shows the error. Mark all as read clears the counter, and See all notifications opens the full list. Notifications are kept for 90 days.
Choose how you are notified
- Open My Account.
- Under Notifications, turn Email and In the dashboard on or off. The change applies at once.
The setting is personal and applies to every project you administer. You can turn both off.
Billing notices, such as a project about to be disabled, are always sent by email and shown in the dashboard, whatever you chose.
Emails that are part of something you asked for, such as invitations and password resets, are not notifications and are always sent.
